More News:

2 Time National Champion Chris Tilley is now offering Individualized Competitive shooting instruction, pistol, shotgun and rifle out to 500+ yards at our new outdoor training facility, just 35 minutes from Raleigh.  Unfortunately we don't have plans to open the range to the public in the near future, it will be used for training only.

Our Mission

"Promote Responsible Firearm Ownership" by partnering with the Members and Patrons

in such a way that allows us to provide the best quality products and services at reasonable prices.

Company Profile

PDHSC is dedicated to providing you with a comfortable, safety oriented, professionally operated, training and indoor shooting facility with a friendly family atmosphere. Conveniently located on the South-East side of Raleigh just 1 block east of 401/70 on Tryon Road, the facility houses fully equipped classrooms, and fully automated firing points on two separate indoor ranges. The facility represents the latest technology in sound abatement, target controls, ventilation, bullet traps, and lead disposal systems.

We do things a little different at PDHSC.  We are not concerned with making "the sale".  We are concerned with earning your trust and building long term relationships.  We believe that if we provide honest, straight-forward information and help you make informed buying decisions that we will earn your trust and loyalty and you will return when you have future needs.

From Proprietors Mike & Carol Tilley

Since taking over the operations in mid-November of 98 we have been blessed in many ways.  The outpouring of  support from the members and patrons has been wonderful.  As stated above, we do things a little different here.   We believe that our patrons deserve to be treated with respect and want to do business with someone who they can trust.  We make you this promise.  You will be treated with the utmost respect and you will always be treated fairly.  We will do our best to make sure that everything is right the first time.  If something should not go as expected "WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT"!

If there is ever anything that you feel that should have been handled differently, please contact either Carol or myself and we will make it our priority to resolve it.

Thanks for your support!

Sammy's puppy picture

" They that can give up essential Liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserves neither Liberty or safety."  - Benjamin Franklin

"Oh, my countrymen! What will our children say, when they read the

history of these times? Should they find we tamely gave away without

one noble struggle, the most invaluable of earthly blessings? As they

drag the galling chain, will they not execrate us? If we have any

respect for things sacred; any regard to the dearest treasures on

earth; if we have one tender sentiment for posterity; if we would not

be despised by the whole world - let us in the most open, solemn

manner, and with determined fortitude, swear we will die, if we

cannot live free men!"
